Description & Specifications
Designed for the containment and clean-up of alkali/caustic spills, this Alkali Neutralising Powder changes colour to indicate when the spillage is safe to remove.
- The Neutralising Powder will turn yellow when the alkali spillage is completely neutralised
- If possible, dilute caustic spillages with water before applying the Alkali Neutraliser Powder
- Packaged in a shaker bottle for easy application, simply apply powder to alkali spillages slowly from the outside to the centre
- Once neutralisation is complete, and if permitted, the mixture can be flushed away with water without damage to the environment
- Alternatively, collect granule/spill mixture and dispose according to your organisational policy
- Each 500cc shaker bottle will neutralise up to 500ml of 50% Sodium Hydroxide, up to 600ml of 45% Potassium Hydroxide, or up to 1L of 30% Ammonium Hydroxide
